"SEVEN DIRTY WORDS"

Charlotte has selected an interesting heroine for her story; a rugby playing tomboy who does mixed martial arts, is small with a curvy figure, thick thighs and a slightly pug nose isn't the typical image portrayed in most chick lit novels where the heroines tend towards the dramatically beautiful. And I think this is where the greatest strength of the novel lies as Paige feels like a well-rounded individual with an interesting character that means she will appeal to many different readers. The twists and turns of the story make for what would be a good holiday read.

"ONE NIGHT IN EDINBURGH"

...a wild and extremely hot romp through the city of Edinburgh...

Chloe and Ethan, hook up after she gets past a slight case of mistaken identity. There are some complications to the relationship, but their raw desire for each other keeps forcing themselves back to each other, with each encounter hotter than the previous one. Charlotte’s romance scenes are very explicit and, boy, are they well written. She also does a great job of painting a picture of the lovers. It’s a fast paced and very exciting.

"THE CHANGE"

I’m glad to say that the story inside lives up to the promise of the cover. It is probably best summed up as a combination of werewolves and family drama – and there’s plenty of drama – not just through the interactions of this somewhat dysfunctional family (well how could a bunch of werewolves be anything but), but through the build-up surrounding a looming threat that puts their very existence at risk!

So all in all a very enjoyable read, not too dark but with plenty of suspense.
